Activating the DYNAST Hardware Keyby Michal Sevcenko, MSc., DYN |
To activate the hardware key for your DYNAST Server, we need to record into the key the range of IP addresses of N client computers that should be able to access your Server. (N is the number specified in your License Agreement.) All the client computers must have the first three numbers in their IP addresses identical, the addresses should differ by the fourth number only. For example, if the first three numbers are 147, 32 and 241, the IP addresses of all the client computers will be in the form “147.32.241.xxx” where xxx is a number specified by the administrator of your computer network. He/she can specify N by different numbers, each within the range between 1 and 255. The xxx numbers can be changed by your administrator any time later, but the first three numbers in the IP addresses of your client computers recorded in the hardware key will remain fixed (unless we will not change them upon your request). If you have received the hardware protection key that has not been activated yet, we can activate it across the Internet. If this is the case, please, ask your administrator to follow these steps:
